I have had this Crock Pot for a dozen years or so and it has a huge crack in the middle of it. This gives me an great excuse to get one that is more..... how shall I say it... my style. The old girl has made many a yummy roast but she is ready to retire. Her timing is perfect, though, because French Bull has a line of items at Target now that include the cutest Crock Pot I have ever seen. (Never thought I would utter the phrase "cutest Crock Pot".)
How cute is that?!
They also have a few other French Bull for Target items that are available and might need to make their way to my kitchen.
French Bull also has great items available on their web site.
You can also follow their blog Live Vivid.
Since I mentioned my Crock Pot roast earlier I must share the best recipe ever. It is called Mississippi Pot Roast and I found it on Pinterest a while back. I have used an english roast, a regular old roast and also a pork roast. My favorite is the english roast but they all have amazing flavor if you are trying to cut back on red meat and would prefer pork.
1 roast of your choice
1 stick of salted butter
1 package of ranch dressing/dip mix
1 package of Au Jus mix
6 pepperoncini peppers
Put the roast in your Crock Pot, sprinkle the ranch and au jus over it, place the stick of butter on top and place the peppers on top. Turn it on and cook on low all day.
It is DIVINE!
I'm so in love with French Bull right now!
ReplyDeleteThat Mississippi Pot Roast looks... intriguing. I can't even imagine what it would taste like. Obviously, I'm going to have to make it soon. :)
Thanks for the recipe!
